This DVD contains 6 short films.

Film 1: Chapters 1 to 4. Starts with the film, "In the Beginning" 1900-1917. 2nd chapter, "After the War" 1917-1923. 3rd chapter, Struggle for Recognition 1923 -1930. 4th chapter, "Between Two Wars" 1930-1935.

2nd Film: "Chapters 5 to 7". 5th chapter, "Air Power Advances" 1935-1937. 6th chapter, "Prelude to War" 1937-1939, 7th chapter, "The Air War Starts" 1939-Dec 7th, 1941.

3rd Film:, "Army Air Forces - Alerts". Follows the US Army Air Forces, work, development, and testing of aircraft. Includes early helicopters, superchargers, radio life-rafts, Waco Gliders, and Hap Arnold address.

4th Film: "The Douglas Monstrous B-19". One of the largest aircraft bomber ever made was the Douglas B-19. Although it was obsolete once completed, the Army used it as a test platform for new bombers to come. Very rare footage.

5th Film: "1940 B-10 B-17 and B-18 Squadron Trip". Pre WW2 Army Air Corps bombers made training flight around the country and world. A small collection of the Martin B-10, The Douglas B-18 trip to the Navajo Country and the B-17 trip to Hawaii and New Zealand.

6th Film: "USAAF Test Newsreels". Now, the USAAF, the Army went into testing, training and flying new aircraft. America was preparing for war.
