This flintlock is designed to be drawn and fired with the left hand, leaving your right hand free to wield a cutlass. Placing the lock on the left side prevented the lock from snagging on clothing when drawing from your belt. Features an engraved lock and butt plate. A nice feature of this flintlock is the distinctive shape of the wood stock, which makes this pistol comfortable to hold and handle. The other details, including a finished barrel with attractive engravings and a lock plate with equally fine engravings, serve only to enhance the look of this traditional flintlock. The pistol measures approximately 15 inches long. Please note that this is a replica pistol and that in spite of any moving parts it may possess or how realistic it may look, it cannot be converted into a working flintlock firearm.
