One of only a handful of U.S. fighter pilots to get airborne during the Pearl Harbor attack, Second Lt. George Welch — still wearing his civilian clothes after an all-night poker game — got his P-40 Tomahawk up in the air and took down four Japanese warbirds. He would finish the war a triple aces, with 16 total aerial victories. Made by King & Country, this 1/30 scale polystone model replicates Welch's fighter as it appeared on December 7, 1941, and includes a hand-painted pilot figure in a Hawaiian shirt! Plane measures approximately 12¾" long.
