The V-2 ballistic missile was the world's first liquid-fuel rocket and also the first manmade item to enter the fringes of space. Used by the Nazis during WWII in retaliation for the bombing of Germany, this weapon targeted Allied cities, primarily Antwerp and London, and remotely inflicted thousands of casualties. An additional 12,000 forced laborers and concentration camp prisoners died during production. Over 3,200 are thought to have been launched during combat. A marvel of modern warfare, this 1/72 scale replica kit features detailed fuselage fins, exhaust port, and launch pad.
