An Italian submarine attacks an allied freighter and sinks it. The Italian submarine crew picks up survivors including a Canadian women of the CWAC (Canadian Women's Army Corps) plus 1 dog. Attacked over and over by the allies, the captain's compulsion to save his victims by taking aboard 24 additional Danish merchant seamen. He then sails the survivors hundreds of miles across the open ocean on the surface to put them ashore in the Azores. Dubbed in English.

The third film, "Mare Nostrum", is a rare old Victory at Sea film. A great story of the Italians fighting with the "Axis" during WWII.
