Officially allying the Nazis with the Fascists, the "Pact of Steel" was signed by Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini in 1939. Although the two didn't care for each other, they remained allies throughout the war and, ironically, died two days apart in late April 1945. Issued by German and Italian governments during WWII, this set features a 10 Reichspfenning and a KM-77a coin, along with four stamps: Third Reich, Italian, and two of both dictators facing each other. Also, includes a certificate of authenticity and display folder.
