Ordered by Australia in 1949, the Centurion Mk.5 tank were actually not made available until 1953 because of the Korean War. The Mk.5 was eventually upgraded to meet their requirements and in 1967 additional modifications had been made, such as infrared night vision. Between 1968 and 1971, the RAAC transferred three tanks to Vietnam for ground support. One Centurion, also nicknamed "Pussy Eater," was assigned to C Squadron of the 1st Armored Regiment.



This 1/72 scale, Hobby Master, die cast replica of a Centurion Mk.5, as it appeared with the C Squadron in Vietnam during 1971, features authentic markings and professional hand-painted details, realistic weathering, a rotating turret and attached gun, movable tracks, and more. 5¼" long.
