Based on the A-3 Skywarrior, the B-66 Destroyer was a light bomber intended to replace the A-26 Invader. It was first flown in June of 1954 and, despite its original purpose, more RB-66 recon variants were manufactured than bombers. Less than 300 were produced and it was retired from U.S. Air Force service in 1973.

This 1/72 scale plastic kit replicates an RB-66B Destroyer and features engraved panel lines, a glazed canopy, a well-equipped cockpit, realistic engine fronts, detailed landing gear, and four sets of authentic markings. Assembly required. Skill level 2. Measures approximately 12½" long with a 12" wingspan.
