About Vampirella and Monster Scenes
Vampirella was created by Forrest J. Ackerman for Warren Publishing's Vampirella #1 in 1969. Aurora introduced her as a snap-together figure in its Monster Scenes line in February 1971, a series later pulled from production and recalled that same year following public protests; the kits were reissued by Moebius Models in 2008 and are now revived by Atlantis Models.
