From battleships to submarines, to shipbuilders and Naval crews, everything is covered here. This is a special, important collection due to the massive destruction of official documents at the end of the war. These beautiful photographs will paint a picture of the Japanese Navy as you have never seen it before. 144 pages, 12"x 8 ½", hardcover.

    Biggest battleships ever made

Although they only saw limited action, the 2 Yamato class battleships were truly awesome ships. They weighed in at over 67,000 tons displacement and had massive 18 inch guns and heavy armor plating. Both ships were sunk by US Navy carrier based aircraft in 1944-45.
