Gordon & Komissarov. In the 1950s, the Soviet Union sought a fast interceptor to counter the threat of NATO bombers. Featuring many rare and previously unpublished photos, this title examines these crafts, and also the prototypes and projects that were never realized, describing full operational detail and their effect on Soviet defense. 320 pages, 805 color and B&W photos, 8½"x 11", hardcover.
