First flown on March 5th, 1936, the Supermarine Spitfire was an effective fighter aircraft for the Royal Air Force, built in greater numbers than any other British aircraft during the Second World War. This 1/48 scale, Hobby Master, die cast model replicates the popular fighter and features an opening canopy revealing a well-equipped cockpit, rotating metal propeller, optional position landing gear, accurate ordnance loads, a display stand, and authentic markings for RAF No.303 (Polish) Sqn., flown by Ace Lt. Jan Zumbach in August 1942. 9¼" wingspan.
