Created as a light tractor for airborne troops, the Kettenkrad entered production in 1939. These tanks were most frequently used as runway tugs for aircraft and were well-known for towing the Me 262 in order to preserve precious fuel.
With markings of the 20th Panzer Division, this 1/48 scale, Hobby Master, die cast model recreates the Sd.Kfz.2 as it was in 1944. It features a rotating turret, an elevating cannon, an accurate hull, non-moving tracks, non-rotating wheels, realistic panel lines, antennas, opening hatches, access panels, surface details, and a clear display case. Measures 2½" long and ¾" wide.
