An all-metal fighter and ground-attack aircraft, the P-40 Warhawk was first seen in October of 1938. Only the P-51 Mustang and the P-47 Thunderbolt saw a greater production run, and the P-40 remained on frontline service with nearly every Allied military through the end of World War II. As the aircraft's high altitude performance could not match the premium Luftwaffe fighters, it instead played a significant role in North Africa and the Pacific.

This 1/72 scale plastic Easy model — a replica of a P-40E Warhawk operating with the 49th FG, 9th FS "Flying Knights" in 1941 — features that aircraft's signature yellow and green paint scheme and colorful nose art, engraved panel lines, a rotating propeller, a glazed canopy, a well-equipped cockpit, a realistic bomb, authentic markings, fixed landing gear, and a display stand. Measures approximately 5½" long with a 6¼" wingspan.
