About the F/A-18E Super Hornet
An enlarged, more powerful development of the original F/A-18 Hornet, the Super Hornet entered U.S. Navy service in 1999, combining greater range and payload with an airframe designed for reduced radar signature, and remains a mainstay of Navy carrier air wings.
