About the F-15E Strike Eagle
Entering U.S. Air Force service in 1988, the F-15E was developed for long-range, high-speed interdiction missions without relying on escort aircraft. Powered by two Pratt & Whitney F100 engines, it carries advanced avionics and a wide range of air-to-ground and air-to-air weapons, and has flown in conflicts from the Gulf War through operations in Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria.
