About the Bismarck
Designed as a commerce raider, the Bismarck-class battleship relied on speed and endurance to overtake and destroy its foes. Over eight hundred feet long and displacing more than 42,000 tons, it mounted eight 15-inch guns in four main turrets and could exceed 30 knots. The Bismarck was sunk in May 1941 in one of the most famous naval battles of World War II.

Bismarck
I had a similar model of this ship when I was a lot younger. So when I saw it offered here for a great price, I jumped right on it! I currently have a backlog of models and I'm saving this one for the long, cold winter months. I am looking forward to adding it to my collection. Thank you!
