First flown in 1975, the AH-64 Apache is an attack helicopter developed to replace the AH-1 Cobra. The advanced tandem-cockpit chopper serves primarily with the U.S. Army, though it also serves with a number of international militaries including in Greece, Japan, Israel, Singapore, and elsewhere. At least 2,000 have been manufactured.
