The Grumman A-6 Intruder was a twinjet attack aircraft that was developed during the late 1950s and served in the Vietnam War. This 1/48 scale, plastic kit replicates an A-6E Tram Intruder variant, featuring special markings from the VA-75, "Sunday Punchers"; and the VA-65, the "World Famous Fighting Tigers". It includes engraved panel lines, a well-appointed cockpit, laminated instrument panels, accurate engines, intake trunks, a detailed undercarriage, a pivoting arresting hook, speed brakes, a hinged rudder, optional position slats and flaps, optional extended or folded wings, inner refueling probe, a segmented canopy, and an optional boarding ladder. Assembly required. Skill level 3. 13" wingspan.
