Description

A light military truck used during World War II, the 1/4-ton 4x4 command vehicle - also referred as Jeep - assisted in mobilizing Allied forces and became the world's first mass-produced four-wheel drive car. General Patton was fond of Dodge Command Cars and used them frequently for desert training in 1942. He had a WC57 modified to his specifications in 1944. The reconnaissance car had a winch and a radio switch box located behind the front seat, it operated on a 12-volt electrical system, and an armor plate to protect the radiator.

This 1/35 scale plastic kit features a well-appointed interior, realistic surface and panel lines, free-rolling wheels, and illustrated instructions. Assembly required. Skill level 2. 5" long.
