Description
The F-4 Phantom II was initially designed as a U.S. Navy Fleet defense aircraft when it entered service in 1961. It's a two-seat, supersonic long-range all-weather fighter-bomber that soon became one of the few aircraft used by the Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps. It remains one of the most iconic fighters of all time, still in service with many Air Forces around the globe
Draped in a camo paint scheme, this 1/72 scale, die cast model is a Hobby Master replica of a QF-4E flown by the 82nd ATRS — the last USAF unit to operate the Cold War jet — in the Full Scale Aerial Target role. It features engraved panel lines, an opening canopy, a well-equipped cockpit (with two removable crew figures), authentic 2016 markings, optional-position landing gear, and a display stand. Measures 10½" long with a 6¼" wingspan.
