The fourth release in the Oxford Diecast series of 1/72 scale, die cast warplanes, this model replicates the Ju 87B Stuka diver-bomber flown by Stab III./St.G.77 Gruppenkommandeur Major Helmut Bode when the unit (which suffered the greatest losses of all Stuka units in the Battle of Britain) was stationed in Caen, France, in August, 1940.
It features textured surfaces, a detailed cockpit and rear gunner's station with a glazed greenhouse canopy, inverted gull wings with realistic air brakes, detailed landing gear with wheel pants, and authentic markings, including the unit badge that was based on Bode's family arms. 7½" wingspan; includes a display stand that identifies the plane and pilot.
